Tax and Technology

This meeting will be on Wednesday 22nd February at 18:00 at MacFarlanes, 20 Cursitor Street, EC4A 1LT.  The topic will be Tax and Technology and the speakers will be:

 

Jennie Fisk – Lego

Andrew Hunt – EY

James Whyman – Deloitte

Stuart Tait – KPMG

And (possibly) a speaker from HMRC

 

The meeting will focus on a number of current topics relating to the application of technology in tax procedures and compliance.  These will include: the use of technology to resolve issues relating to the operation of Pillar 2; technology and automatic exchange of information for tax purposes; confidentiality of data bases for tax purposes.  The speakers will highlight recent issues and technology solutions, and there will be time for questions and answers.

 

The meeting will be followed by drinks and snacks at 19:30.  All members are greatly encouraged to attend in person, but the meeting will be hybrid and it will be possible to join by zoom by clicking this link.   To register for the meeting in person please reply to Karen Spring ([email protected]).  Students are also welcome to attend.
